Madog was formed around 1992 by Hansi Zedrosser ( Lead&Rhytmguit. and lead vocals).His brother Otto joined the band about 1 year later.The line up was:two guitars , bass and drums.They played together till the summer of 1995.At this time theysplitted , in fact of musical differences.Till 1997 , it was quiet calm around Madog.

In summer of 1997 , Hansi asked me to join Madog and so I did. At this time Madog was a ´Three piece´ consisting of Hansi , Otto and me (Chris). In winter of 1998 we meet Alex Humer, a guitar player. We had a very good understanding and so we decided, that he should join the band too and he did. After working out new songs and playing gigs in Austria and Germany, we recorded our first album called ´Dreamland.' We got good reactions about Dreamland and so we played again gigs around Austria and Germany. After that we recorded ´Fairytales of darkness´ and with this output we got the recorded deal named above!

As you can see , we are now in the same line up since 1998. We are not only makeing songs or music together, because we are very good friends too and that´s an important part for us!
