After a few underground demo releases Where's
the Peace is the first full length album from
Canberra's COD. This project has seen the band
team up with Gordon and REDSUN studio's to produce
an entirely local and fully professional recording
to compliment the bands big sound and guitar driven
metal style.
COD's style is somewhat hard to describe big
guitars and clasic metal sounds from aggressive
all the way to mellow, traditional sounding vocals
comparable to Black Sabbath and SOAD. Even
drumming that somtimes belongs in a grind core
band COD have proved (in the past) they can just
about play any style. But with the release of
Where's the Peace the song writting of
the band has matured and some tight polished ripping
rock/metal classic's have emerged. Where's
the Peace is full of political undertones
and social commentary and is a culmination of
the last 4 years of refinement for the nation
capital's COD. Who are currently trying to promote
and gain some sort of distribution for the CD.
Where's the Peace is definetly a sublime crossover
of sounds true to its metal roots pushing new
boundaries in Metal Music in Australia

Armies of the Elephant Gods
Here comes the sun,
The day has begun.
The hunt is on,
The presence of man pollutes the air with his
gun.
Lend an ear, you must understand.
The earth has always been the kingdom's land.
The hunter goes forth,
It's more than a sport.
The beast must be caught,
A question of green is why the ivory is sought.
The caravan advances,
In single file.
Their spirits are bouyed by the morning.
He uncoils the cobra,
His weapon of choice.
The penance to be paid will soon...
Come crashing down,
The deafening sound.
The chaos surrounds,
The mighty beast roar their vengence out load
And armed with 3 metre tusks
The rumbling underfoot,
A precursor for the carnage to start.
Oh now they can see,
Oh how could it be.
The plain below now filled with Ganesh's army.
Cowadice is exposed when facing
death,
At the hands of the,
Armies of the Elephant God
They beg for accord,
Their cries are ignored.
The remover of obstacles smiles as if he were
bored.
Army marches through,
The bodies are strewn.
The jungle in ruin,
No one is shown mercy as the troop faces it's
doom.
Dead in their tracks,
Now there's no turning back.
Fear grips their soul as the army completes the
attack.
We've reaped what we've sown,
Oh we should have known.
By killing our mother in essence we're killing
our home.
How has it come to this,
Our destruction a symbol of all...
That we have destroyed.
